What you can do:

  • Set a good example by modeling positive, responsible behavior.
  • Honor the healthy choices that youth make.
  • Help kids to take ownership of their actions by making them responsible for their own behavior.

their children’s activities.

What you can do:

  • Include parents in setting standards for appropriate conduct.
  • Use parent consent forms for trips and special activities.
  • Keep parents informed of activities and events taking place within your organization, especially those that involve their children.
