It is beneficial for youth if they are motivated to achieve in school.

What you can do:

  • Ask kids about what they are doing in school.
  • Encourage kids to apply what they’ve learned in school by having them use their knowledge to address issues in your program.
  • Celebrate when kids have succeeded in school and empathize with them they are struggling.
