4-H Members Take a Stroll on the Red Carpet

Eighty-nine Missouri 4-H members took a stroll on the red carpet during the Hollywood-themed State 4-H Fashion Revue at the University of Missouri, Sept. 12.

The 4-H members attended workshops, presented by Mizzou 4-H members, in which they learned about etiquette and how to use accessories to complete any look. Youth modeled clothing they made or purchased in four categories: Clothes You Make, Clothes You Buy, Knit garments and Crochet garments. 

“The State 4-H Fashion Revue is the culmination of a year of hard work in the clothing project,” said Alison Copeland, MU Extension state 4-H youth specialist. “Participating 4-H members have gained experience in resource management, consumer skills, design principles, wardrobe coordination and garment maintenance. With these skills, MU Extension 4-H members can be successful in everything they do.”
